Using netTALK product with Comcast + Motorola Surfboard Modem
Article
If you have a Comcast ISP service and are using a Motorola Surfboard Modem. In order to get your TK6000/DUO working you must first update the DNS settings on the router that you have connected.
1) Login to you router via its interface.
2) Depending on your router and its interface, find the router's DNS settings (usually under basic settings)
3) Change the Primary DNS (or DNS1) to 4.2.2.2
4) Change the Secondary DNS (or DNS2) to 4.2.2.1
5) Save your settings on your router
6) Restart your TK6000/DUO by unplugging the power and reconnecting it after 5 seconds.
7) You should now receive a ring.
