The netTALK Videophone allows you to place and receive calls through your computer without the use of your phone. Please note that you must have your netTALK DUO connected via USB and have previously downloaded the netTALK USB Driver in order to operate the Videophone.

Requirements

  • netTALK DUO
  • netTALK USB driver
  • Windows* computer
  • Speakers and microphone or dual-jack multimedia headset
  • Webcam (for others to see you)
  • Internet Connection

*Currently only for Windows/7/XP/Vista operating systems.

Setup

  1. Download the netTALK USB driver setup file
  2. Follow the instructions in the USB Driver Installation Guide
    Note: For best performance, please uninstall any previous versions of the netTALK USB driver before installing the new one.
  3. If needed, read the USB Driver Troubleshooting Guide
  4. Download the netTALK Videophone setup file
  5. Run the netTALK Videophone setup file and follow the instructions

How to Use

  1. Plug the netTALK DUO to your computer using the USB cable.
  2. Wait about one minute for the DUO to register an IP.
  3. Double-click the Videophone Desktop icon to run the Videophone.
  4. Videophone will automatically register with our system.
  5. Call your friends and family for free and invite them to do the same.
